Title

On September 8th, 1983, Guy appeared on the morning talk show, "Good Morning America" as part of their week-long salute to the last thirty years of television. On the show with Guy were three other actors who also played unforgettable characters in the 50's and 60's; Adam West, Kirby Grant and Van Williams. Guy had flown in from Argentina the night before the interview, and I'm so grateful to whoever it was who even thought to ask Guy to be a part of this salute to television, and even more grateful that Guy agreed to do it. I'm sure he was flattered to be asked. It was a very short interview, but to Guy's fans, seeing him on television doing an interview was such a rare and welcomed sight, that something was better than nothing. Below are some sound bytes for you to enjoy. Other than David Hartman's introduction to the actors, I'm only including Guy's portion of the interview.

  Introduction by host David Hartman
Were there any injuries on the Zorro set
Were you concerned about being typecast
I have two children. I just got in from Argentina
