Title

If Annette Funicello ever wondered where she stood with Steve Stevens, she found out somewhere around her second or third date with him. In his eagerness to pick her up, Steve drove so speedily, he piled up his car en route - but calmly proceeded to keep the date anyway! Still another Steve (an 11th grader by the name of Elkins) is also showing Annette the thrill of a first romance. Almost philosophically, she refuses to choose between them. "What will happen will happen, and for the best", she says.

Picking Annette up

Mrs. Funicello wholeheartedly approves her daughter's choice of boyfriends.

Bowled over

Annette was bowled over by Steve the first time she met him on The Mickey Mouse Club lot. A free-lance actor, he's appeared on several of her shows and one Playhouse 90. Currently, he's acting with the Hollywood Presbyterian Group.

What's the future hold?

Pressed for future plans, Steve will only admit to a "steady job". Annette's more specific. She's just signed a big three-year contract and intends to remain a Mouseketeer.

Charmed by Steve

Charmed by Steve over a sundae, Annette was later disenchanted when he agreed with her mom that she was too young to own a car.

Time to go home

In the midst of great fun, Steve will remind Annette it's time to go home. Annette will turn sweet sixteen in October.
