Meet Two Bits: |
In 1963, Johnny and his horse, "Two Bits" had been a team for four years. Johnny lived with his family in the Hollywood Hills, Two Bits lived nearby at the Fred Bale stables in Burbank. The horse, a quarter horse, a pinto with a dark brown head, often accompanied Johnny on personal appearance tours.
Here's a little trivia for you. "Blue Boy", the horse Johnny rode on The Rifleman, was really named "Bosco". |
